Booking Procedure
- A 25% deposit is required to confirm your booking. Balance is to be paid 14 days prior to departure.
- Cancellations prior to 7 days from charter incur a $250 cancellation fee
Cancellations within 7 days of charter will be charged a 50% fee, Cancellations within 24 hours or no shows will be charged 100%
In the unlikely event that TeVaka charters cancels, the total fee is fully refunded, unless an alternative date can be arranged
- Although every care is taken, Te Vaka charters shall not be held responsible for any property lost or damage and/or any damages resulting in death or personal injury which may arise whilst on board or otherwise utilising our services.
 How to get to Bay of Islands
By Air
Bay of Islands airport is a 45 minute flight from Auckland. There are 5 flights a day.
By Road
The Bay of Islands is a 3½ hr drive from Auckland
Packing for your trip
Subject to change of weather you will need:
- A light weatherproof jacket
- Swimsuit beach towel
- Pair of trainers or velcro strapped sandals (rock walkers)
- Some summer clothes, warm clothes for evening
- Pack all in a light fold away bag
- High factor sun block and sunglasses recommended
- We have Te Vaka sarongs available which you may also like to purchase
